Context
-Brief
Participatory events and consultation with local residents and stakeholders, exploring key themes and issues to set out a shared vision for the area to help generate a deliverable plan and strategy for the residential area.
A variety of different techniques were used to investigate and record people’s hopes, aspirations and ideas. The choice of methods at each stage placed emphasis on events that appealed to the hard to reach groups (with a focus on youth) whilst raising awareness and stimulating involvement with the wider community.
Outputs from each session were collated in appropriate packages. The material was used to inform the next stages of work, and also used as publicity material to gather momentum for the next stages.
Events included:
Art Workshops
Sport Sessions
Touring Future Buzz
Design Drop in Sessions
